We have a bedroom!  We’ve been sleeping in it since around Christmas - yeah, I know, I’m a slacker about updating.  I’ve been in hibernation!  Then there was that whole ice storm/power loss/internet cable laying in the back yard thing.  But anyway, it’s completed!  YAY!  I had to make the curtains or special order them and being the tight wad that I am *cough* I decided to make my own.  They’re not exactly what I wanted but they serve their purpose.  The bed is monsterous but we LOVE it.  Besides, we had to have room for Tink to sleep in the middle, sideways, sprawled out.  I figure she’ll be ready to sleep in her own room by the time she’s 16. 

As promised - my room in color.  Here’s the “girly” purple …

I’m not too fond of the color Matt picked out for the other walls, but I’m to the point that I don’t give a damn.  JUST GIVE ME A BED!!

More of what will now be forever referred to as the “other color”.  I will forever discriminate against this color.  It’s inferior.  The large outlet/bracket in the center of the wall is for the plasma TV and you can see the work in progress on the window sills in the big window.  I’m hoping Matt gets the bench top made soon.  I’m ready to put together a comfy cushion for it and start throw pillow shopping!
